Colourburn was commissioned to film and produce multi-camera coverage of all the talks at a recent TEDx conference on featuring 13 outstanding speakers including Satish Kumar, Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall and TED curator Chris Anderson, and riveting performances from Kagemusha Taiko drummers and the Grand Bard of Exeter Jackie Juno.

The day was packed full of inspirational ideas, hope for the future and challenges to actions.

Here’s a film produced for Shells Premium fuel V-Power club.

On location at the very scenically pleasing Anglesey race track in Wales, 4 of the V-Power members were treated to a day on the track. We were there to capture it in style, with Canon 5D and Go-Pro cameras, here’s the result.

I received some funding to make a mini doc on a subject which is close to my heart.

The UK has more than 90,000 rough sleepers with 75,000 homes being repossessed this year and 34% more people on the streets this year. This doc explores some of the realities around being homeless in the UK.

We where asked to provide Norland with an induction film on Procurement to help new employees better understand the importance of procurement in their business.

Not strictly a charity, but this job was to help a good friend out in their 1st year on a new farm.

To go to the next level from being Organic in our farming methods, we have entered into the Higher Level Stewardship a government-run scheme that encourages greater diversity of habitats and encourages schools to use Windout Farm as an extension of the classroom.

I was asked to produce a short and in-expensive promo clip for a mental health conference as part of it’s marketing material.

“imh2011 is a unique event Running over two days, this peer conference will focus on how technology and the internet are changing and shaping mental health and well-being, including delivery of care. We have drawn together those leading the way in this area, including people with lived experience, practitioners and clinicians and researchers.”

I am very excited by this camera, a perfect choice for any project which needs a strong creative and cinematic approach.

This camera is the first of it’s kind, with a large sensor and interchangeable lenses. It really has opened the door for even tight budget shoots to now have the option to film more creatively.
